Badminton is fast, fun, and social, and it is one of the easiest ways to meet people when you are new to Barcelona. Keep Calm Community brings together English-speaking expats, internationals, and locals for friendly games where everyone is welcome, whatever your level.

It is a sport that rewards showing up more than it rewards experience. Rallies are quick, a session can flex from a light warm-up hit to a properly competitive game, and because doubles is so common, you are playing with and against other people from your very first point, not standing on the sidelines waiting your turn. That makes it a natural icebreaker for anyone building a new social circle in the city.

Whether you grew up playing or you are picking up a racket for the first time, you will find a relaxed and welcoming group here. Barcelona has a decent scattering of indoor sports centres and courts across the city where badminton is played, so once sessions are up and running there should be options in more than one neighbourhood. Sessions are organised through WhatsApp, so you can join whenever it suits you and start rallying with new friends.

This group is brand new and currently marked as coming soon, we do not have a confirmed schedule, court, or cost to share yet.
