About Keep Calm Women's Volleyball
Keep Calm Women's Volleyball is a friendly, women-only group bumping, setting and spiking on Barcelona's beaches and courts. No experience needed — if you can laugh off a missed serve, you'll fit right in.
Beach volleyball is one of the best ways to enjoy Barcelona, and doing it with a welcoming group of women makes it even better. Everything is organised in English through WhatsApp, and every nationality is welcome.
We're volunteer-run and not-for-profit, so there's nothing to pay to join — just turn up and play. It's a brilliant way to stay active, soak up the Mediterranean sun, and build real friendships in the city.

Yes. Keep Calm Women's Volleyball is a women-only group, created to give women a friendly, welcoming space to play volleyball in Barcelona at any level.
I've never played volleyball — can I still come?
Definitely. No experience is needed and total beginners are genuinely welcome. Sessions are relaxed and friendly, and someone will always help you get started.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
No — balls and nets are provided. Just bring sportswear, sunscreen, water and yourself.
Is it free?
Beach sessions are free. For indoor sessions, the cost of the court is simply split among the players. There's no membership fee — we're not-for-profit and volunteer-run.
Do I need to speak Spanish or Catalan?
Not at all. Everything is organised in English and all nationalities are welcome.
