Living in Barcelona doesn't mean giving up winter sports. Keep Calm's skiing and snowboarding group organizes trips to the Pyrenees and other resorts so you can hit the slopes with fellow English-speaking expats and internationals.
For the 2026-27 season we're running two kinds of trips: bigger "Mega" weekends open to the wider community (up to around 60 people, sorted into groups by ability), and smaller "Big" trips for Keep Calm members on one shared accommodation booking (up to around 14 people). Whether you're a first-timer who's never seen snow or an advanced rider chasing powder, there's a trip for you.
It's the perfect way to experience the incredible mountain scenery just a few hours from Barcelona while making friends who share your love for snow sports. Join the WhatsApp group to be first to hear about dates and destinations.
Practical Details
Schedule
Winter season (roughly January-March), trips announced in the WhatsApp group
Locations
Pyrenees resorts including Grandvalira (Andorra), plus other resorts across the Pyrenees and Alps depending on the trip
Cost
Varies by trip and format, typically 250-350 euros for a weekend (around 60-80 euros/day lift pass, 30-40 euros/day gear rental), plus accommodation and transport
What to Bring
Ski/snowboard gear (rental available at resorts), warm layers, winter-sports travel insurance
