Squash in Barcelona (English-Speaking Community)
Keep Calm doesn't run dedicated squash sessions โ here's what to know about playing in Barcelona, and where to find people to play with.
Worth knowing: Keep Calm doesn't currently run a dedicated squash group โ this page is general information plus an honest pointer to our Miscellaneous group, where squash players can connect with each other.
About Squash with Keep Calm
Squash exists in Barcelona, though it's a niche sport compared to padel, which dominates the city's racquet-sport scene. There are a handful of squash courts scattered around the city at sports centres and private clubs, generally bookable by the hour rather than run as drop-in social sessions.
We'll be upfront: squash isn't one of Keep Calm's roughly 20 dedicated activity groups. Among racquet sports, our active, organised groups are padel and tennis โ squash hasn't reached the numbers yet to justify its own weekly session, court booking and organiser.
That doesn't mean there's nowhere to take this. Keep Calm's Miscellaneous group is exactly where off-catalogue interests like squash get discussed, it's where you can ask if anyone else is playing, find a partner, or even find enough interest to kick off a proper group down the line. And in the meantime, our padel, tennis, running and social groups are a genuine way to meet people in Barcelona.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Keep Calm have a dedicated squash group?
No, not currently. Among racquet sports, our active dedicated groups are padel and tennis. Squash interest gets discussed in the general Miscellaneous group instead.
Where can I actually play squash in Barcelona?
There are a handful of squash courts around the city at sports centres and some private clubs, generally booked by the hour rather than run as social drop-ins. A quick search for "pistas de squash Barcelona" will turn up current options.
Can I still find squash partners through Keep Calm?
Yes โ join Miscellaneous and ask. It's the group for exactly this kind of off-catalogue interest, and where enough interest could spark a dedicated group in future.
What other racquet sports does Keep Calm run?
Padel and tennis both have active, dedicated Keep Calm groups with regular sessions โ a good option if you enjoy racquet sports generally while you look for squash specifically.
