About Table Tennis with Keep Calm
Keep Calm's table tennis group (posted as "Ping Pong" in WhatsApp) is one of the most consistent fixtures in the whole community: every Thursday, 18:00 to 21:00, at the public tables in Sants. It's been running long enough that it has a real rhythm to it, organised by a regular called Jia.
Up to 20 players show up across the 5 public tables, so there's always a game going and always someone to rally with, whatever your level. You don't need to bring a racket or balls โ spare ones are provided, so you can turn up with literally nothing and start playing.
A poll goes out in the group every Tuesday or Wednesday asking who's coming and when people plan to arrive, so you know roughly who'll be there before you leave the house. It's free, sociable, and one of the easier Keep Calm groups to just show up to on a whim.
